As far as dining is concerned, Las Brisas has four exquisite options. The first, La Brisa Restaurant & Bar is a casual poolside restaurant that overlooks the pool and offers a spectacular beach view as well. Here guests will find an assortment of light entrees, Mexican ¡§antojitos¡¨ or snacks, and drinks. Our seafood restaurant, Solarium is located next to the beach and offers regional cuisine, specializing in fresh and delicious seafood dishes for lunch and dinner. At our Bellavista restaurant guests can enjoy air-conditioned comfort, while enjoying a view of the main pool. Delicious breakfasts and dinners are served in a casual, yet romantic, atmosphere. The Mexicano Restaurant specializes in Mexican cuisine and offers a wide selection of wines. Here guests will be able to enjoy meals while overlooking Tangolunda Bay. Restaurants hours and menus may vary depending on the season and the hotel´s occupation.

Even though Huatulco is a small town, guests have access to a wide array of activities outside the hotel such as a visit to a coffee-making Hacienda or a Catamaran tour of Huatulcos´s 9 protected bays. “Second stay, same great experience”

Las Brisas Huatulco

We just returned from our second stay at Las Brisas Huatulco, and it was as great as the first. We're an active family of three with a ten-year-old boy, and it's perfect. You can do so much without ever leaving: kayaking, snorkeling, body surfing. The setting is gorgeous, too, with an abundance of interesting wildlife and flora.

The food is okay, not great. We were on an all-inclusive package this time around, and it was convenient, but we went into town a few times for dinner. (I highly recommend Rigoletto, a pizza place in La Crucacita.) The a la carte restaurant, El Mexicano, is much better than the buffet, and the other a la carte places were closed when we were there.

The service is excellent - friendly and attentive.

We took two tours, a great snorkel/diving trip that we booked directly with Hurricane Divers, and a coffee plantation tour (Fincas y Cascadas) that we booked through the hotel tour desk. The plantation tour wasn't quite worth all the windy driving to get there, but it was raining at the beach that day so we wouldn't have had fun had we stayed at the resort.
