“Great Food and Childcare”

Almond Beach Village

We went in September when the hotel was only 40% full. Managers DORRITT, JAMMY and PHILIP were super helpful and very competent.

The childcare is amazing you can leave babies/children and the staff are extremely well trained and truly love there job, thanks to MAUREEN and MARINA. The nursery was better equipped than any I've seen in the UK and very hygienic.

The restaurant staff ranged from average to excellent, the best we found at The reef and the deputy manager Kim HALL was so inviting even with our baby who would pelt the restaurant with food. The food was excellent and very high quality, the Italian restaurant was truly amazing and you could always get table service or buffet for lunch or dinner though you have to find out before as things do change. Some restaurants get booked uop as its fist come first serve so you have to be quick booking in the morning.

The rooms were great and had no complaints Cleaned to a high standard each day.

The beach was clean and sandy, although their are outcrops of rocksl but you can just about avoid them. We had free watersports and and we went on a hotel excursion to feed the turtles where we got to swim with them which was only 10 minutes in the bay from the hotel and we saw four One even came upto me so I could touch it . Turtles are protected in Barbados they are common.

We had a babysitter arranged through the hotel GLORIA who worked her magic with our baby he was fed, given milk and put asleep in three hours! While we tucked into the over 18's only Italian restaurant.

The quality of food, childcare, free excurions, standard of room and location makes this cheap. I dont know how they make a profit!!! Highly recommended.
