Detailed Hotel Information

Myself and my wife arrived at Mango Bay on the 30th september 2008 . This was our second vist as the first visit was to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary in october of 2007 .
We found our first visit very enjoyable and welcoming so we decided to return the following year . The staff were all very friendly and greeted us with a warm welcome. Our luggage was delivered by porter to our room so we didnt have to worry. The room had a balcony with views of the pool area , was large in size and very clean and welcoming. On our second vist however there was a problem with the hot water system which we reported and the plumber came right away to sort the problem we had no further problems .
We found the food throughout both our stays was fantastic , there was a wide selection of foods and was well presented and could not be falted.
On both our visits we were invited to attend a weekly cocktail party. The idea of the party which was hosted by the manager was to welcome us and to give us information about the resort and surrounding areas such as the creek. She was very friendly and emphisised that all her staff were there to help and if we had an questions not to hesitate to ask .
All of the hotel staff down to the cleaners and gardeners were all very polite with smilling faces who liked to have a laugh and joke.
Whilst on both our trips we attended the weekly street party outside the hotel which was with all the local people and some other resort guests sometimes the parties would go on all night the local people were all very intresting and friendly and made it a very good night .
We found the bar environment very welcoming and the bar staff would go out there way to make us drinks up or supply drinks that we wanted within the bar opening times .
Whilst on our trip to Mango Bay we had the great privilege to witness three weddings which we found to be conducted very well.
overall i would recommend this hotel resort and im now planning next years vist to Mango bay
